This documentary follows a young Zapotec woman’s journey to reconnect with her indigenous roots, exploring identity, family, migration, and cultural challenges. We pitched it to DocsLab, which selected it for further development.

"Pray harder / Reza más fuerte" Horror film 2024 - Present
"Pray harder" is a horror film that uses the supernatural to reflect on ongoing issues of gender violence and reproductive rights.
Set in a former convent now functioning as an abortion clinic and women’s shelter, the story draws a parallel between the inquisitorial past and a present where bodily autonomy remains under attack.

Selected for the FERATUM Screenwriting Residency 2025 – a genre-focused program for fantastic cinema by FERATUM Film Festival, Mexico.
Official Selection at the Ibero-American Laboratory of Fantastic Cinema Projects – FantasoLab Incubator Section 2024, Bogotá, Colombia.
The project seeks international co-production to enhance its artistic and technical scope, positioning horror as a powerful tool to confront social fears from a Latin American perspective.

"The weeping of the cacao tree / El llanto del cacao" Producer - 2019
"The weeping of the cacao tree" was shot in rural Tabasco, Mexico, where cacao is grown and the indigenous Chontal language is spoken.
Set during a drought, it follows Rosa, a young girl who offers herself to settle her family's debt with the landlord.
Inspired by real stories, the film sheds light on a hidden practice rooted in tradition.
Winner -Best fiction short film category at the Tequila International Film Festival 2022.
